What do I do once my purchase is complete?

You will need to download the “Loquiz” app when you are ready to play. The icon is a blue location pin on a white background. What materials do I need to play?

You will need a smart device (phone or tablet) that either has data or is connected to Wi-Fi for the duration of the game. We also recommend having a secondary device prepped and ready just in case your battery dies or your particular device has an issue. If you are playing an escape game it is recommended that you have a writing utensil and something to write on so that you may gather the necessary clues.

What do I need to wear?

Whatever is comfortable. If you are playing an outdoor hunt, comfortable walking shoes and dressing for the weather is recommended. If you are playing a game that does not require walking then it really doesn’t matter.

How many times can I play the game?

Your purchase is good for one game play. If you want to play again, or want to play any other games, simply purchase another log-in.

Is there a minimum or maximum participants?

There is no minimum number of participants (other than one). Each log-in is good for up to 5 participants. If you have more than 5 people simply purchase additional log-ins and play to win.

Is there a set start time for my game?

Your log-in is good for up to 1 year after purchase. There is no set start time, you may start at your convenience. Once you have started your game, depending on the game, the timer begins, and you have until the timer ends to complete the game. The virtual guided tour hunts, and the explore at your own pace hunts have no time limit. After exiting the app, if there are still tasks to do, they can be completed days later.

What if I experience technical difficulties during my game?

My device died during gameplay! What do I do?

Use another device to log-in using the same log-in information and select “Continue with existing team”, then select your team name.

We didn’t escape, now what?

That is the purpose of the game. After the time is up you will learn more about the story. However, if you wish to finish the game, you will need to purchase another log-in. Games for ages 15+ have a 75% completion rate, and since we are a team building company, encouraging people to try again is part of our MO. Games for ages 3-12 have a 95% completion rate assuming they stick with the game. There is no pausing an escape game.

Our game was interrupted by something and we lost time.

This must be treated like a real escape game, event or even a movie that happens real-time. It is your responsibility to eliminate as many distractions as possible before playing. Put your device on Do Not Disturb or airplane mode if playing on Wi-Fi. There are no refunds for a game not finished/completed. If you experience a technical issue that is our app, screenshots and submitted app feedback is required.

Why am I asked for permissions?

Some games require GPS, others take photos and videos. These permissions and needed for the games to work. After the game, simply exit the app and the connection stops. And if you don’t plan on playing other games, simply uninstall the app after you are done.
