We have designed interactive and challenging escape-style games for kids of all ages (well, 3+). They are meant to teach as much as they entertain. Can your child follow instructions? Can your child think creatively? We will find out.
Older siblings and/or parents should be present to assist younger children. Reading is involved as well as learning the system of a new app. After only a few minutes, most children over 6 who can read are able to play other games on their own.
Groups of friends will enjoy playing together, or competing against each other and others in different locations, homes, or classrooms.
Game age ranges are 3-6, 7-13, 14+. These are subjective age guesses, your child’s abilities may vary.
Need a new birthday party idea? Age-appropriate escape games are the hottest thing out there. They will bring laughter, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment. They can be just the boys or girls, or be a great co-ed party. Simply make groups of no more than 5 and purchase as many games as necessary. Depending on the ages, supervision/assistance might be needed.
Whether virtual or physical school, classrooms can have a great time playing these games. The planned debriefing afterwards allows for additional insight and introspective value through discussion of the various tasks, the roadblocks some groups faced, and how they could have done things differently.
Classes can play virtually, when age appropriate, using video communication platforms that allow for screen sharing for phones/tablets to others on the call, like Zoom.
Looking for a new, unique family game night option? Have children of varying ages? At Home Escape Games are serious fun. These games offer a great bridge using the technology skills they have developed and learned. They will have children discussing answers and problem solving together. Each game requires various collaboration and communication.
Even if you don’t escape on the first try, playing again means you can teach your children valuable lessons about persistence and dedication.
Test your wits against the clock and your friends. Play individually and share the results, or connect with classmates across the room or country and play together. Services like Zoom allow you to share your screen as you play so you and your friends can help each other escape/solve the mystery.
Several of our games are flat out challenging, even for adults. They require creative thinking, use of the internet via search engines, maps, language translations, math, etc When played solo, they will test anyone. When played together, they require collaboration, resource management, delegation, communication, critical thinking, and much more.
These are great ways to make a Zoom/video meeting a million times more interesting. Simply have one member of a call join from a phone/tablet, share their screen and attempt the mission to escape with up to 4 others. Don’t forget to plan time afterwards to discuss the experience.
